Caracas, 16 Mar. AVN.- Venezuela's Foreign Minister, Delcy Rodriguez, warned Wednesday of the actions of the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, to try to undermine democracy and the social process the Venezuelan people chose.
"We must be alert to the attempts to revive the darkest pages that promoted coups against President Chavez," she warned, when receiving a document of support for Venezuela, by social movements and human rights organizations of the country.
Almagro presented a report Tuesday rejecting the national dialogue and calls for the suspension of Venezuela from the OAS, actions that have been denounced by Venezuela as an attempt to lobby for an intervention against the Bolivarian nation.
"The Venezuelan people will never allow an intervention," said the chancellor referring to Almagro's actions.
