Caracas, 20 Ago. AVN .- The open investigation conducted by a Mixed Commission of the National Assembly on Salvadorian terrorist Francisco Chavez Abarca has revealed that Venezuelans living in Miami, linked to the opposition sector, have held meetings with the sole objective of creating destabilization in Venezuela.
The President of said Commission, Dep. Juan Jose Mendoza, informed that Venezuelans living in Miami hold meetings in restaurants, including terrorist Luis Posada Carriles, and they publicly express they reject against the Bolivarian Government, their intention of creating a destabilizing plan, and their wish to overthrow, and even kill, the President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez.
Mendoza pointed out that said group of people operates from the United States and their links in Venezuela are the same sectors currently using the insecurity issue as an element to create disturbances in the country.
He recalled that the presence of Chavez Abarca in Venezuela was part of a destabilizing plan that included the explosion of a bomb in a public square during the broadcast of a sport event.
“We know that with the capture of this terrorist [Chavez Abarca] we dismantled some of opposition"s plans. However, security bodies are on the max alert,” he underscored.
The Mixed Commission has already met with the Director of Venezuela"s intelligence police (Sebin) General Miguel Rodriguez and in the next days they will hold a meeting with directors of the Service of Identification, Migration and Immigration (Saime) so as to determine the scope of the investigation regarding people"s identities.
