Caracas, 05 Sep. AVN .- The Bolivarian Government of Venezuela will distribute and sell 31,000 white goods nationwide since this month of September.

The information was given by the Minister of Commerce, Richard Canan, during a visit carried out with the President of the Republic, Hugo Chavez, to a socialist commune under way in western Venezuela.

Minister Canan expressed that these white goods, made by kitchens, refrigerators and washing machines, are part of the accord endorsed between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the People"s Republic of China.

Similarly, he explained that these household appliances “were built with energy saving characteristics,” as it is demanded in this day and age.

“These are very high quality products and with a price far below the capitalist market,” Canan affirmed and he added that it would be about 30% and 50% below the market.

These household appliances will be distributed among the grocery store networks Gran Abasto Bicentenario, Mercal and to the saving banks of public institutions, among other spaces.

The Minister explained as well that they will analyze the case of families who need to acquire the aforementioned white goods but have difficulty to purchase them due to lack of resources.

Moreover, Minister Canan expressed that the first kits made by kitchens, refrigerators and washing machines were bestowed at the Socialist Commune under construction Villas de San Jose Bolivar.
